Together, We Made a Difference: Cantina Hospitality Group's Biggest School Supply Drive Yet
Every year, we're reminded just how generous our community is. This year's 3rd Annual Cantina Hospitality Group School Supply Drive was our biggest and most successful yet, thanks to the incredible support of our guests, team members, and community partners.
Throughout the drive, guests visited Brekki Brekki, Tamashi, Poki Poki, Sweet Cup, and Pazzi Ristorante Italiano to donate brand-new school supplies for local students. The response exceeded our expectations, making this our largest collection to date.
To make an even greater impact, Cantina Hospitality Group matched the community's generosity with an additional $1,000 worth of school supplies, all donated to Albuquerque Public Schools. Early one morning, members of our team filled shopping carts with backpacks, notebooks, pencils, folders, and other classroom essentials to ensure even more students have the tools they need for a successful school year.
While checking out, we experienced an unexpected reminder of why this effort matters. The patient cashier helping us shared that she had served as a school principal for 12 years in Afghanistan. As she rang up our overflowing carts, she spoke about her passion for education and the importance of equipping students for success. It was a meaningful conversation that made the day even more memorable.
Together, the community's donations and Cantina Hospitality Group's matching contribution delivered well over $1,000 in additional school supplies to Albuquerque Public Schools, helping support local students and teachers as they prepare for the new school year.
